Contact Vicki at email@example.com or 774-208-7622 with questions.
CALLING ALL ARTISTS! This spring, join in Denville’s first public art installation, “PAL Around Denville.” Use your artistic talents to bring joy and fun to the Gardner Field playground and throughout downtown Denville during the month of June 2017. Hosted by Project Playground 2.0 and the PAL, all proceeds will help update the playground at our beloved Gardner Field in Denville, NJ.
Starting in April, 3.5 foot tall plywood cutouts of the cute figures, or Pals, that make up the Project Playground 2.0 logo will be available for adoption for $100. There will also be 1.5 foot circles of plywood, or Dots, available for $25. Artists will have 6 weeks to create their artwork on the wood forms which will be hung along the fencing surrounding the playground at a “Party at the Playground” taking place on June 3, 2017 from 4-7pm. All creations will remain on display through the month of June and then can be picked up for private display.
Consider your “canvas” a great opportunity to show the support of your family, organization or business—we encourage you to include your name/logo within your artwork! Pal decorating workshops will be taking place throughout April and May if you’d like some inspiration and assistance. We also welcome sponsors that would like to adopt a Pal but have their design ideas executed by a local artist.
If you’re interested in participating in this event please adopt your Pal online or print and fill out this form and mail it to PAL Around Denville, c/o Vicki Harrison at 21 West Shore Rd, Denville. We will then be in contact to arrange for drop off/pickup. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions. You can also pick up a Pal or Dot in person at the Denville Farmers’ Market or Denville Public Library starting April 23.
